After three years of grinding away through the Vermont State Independent School Approval process to provide a secondary school in our community, ESBR succeeded in securing the title of being an Approved Independent School whereby education tax dollars can be utilized by students and their families at ESBR, albeit on a one-year schedule to expand on 8 conditions the Vermont State Board of Education requires further development upon. This means there is still much work to be done and we cannot rest on our laurels, including our fundraising efforts. Last year thanks to several anonymous donors we had a total of $12,000 Matching Funds, and thanks to everyone's support we reached that match, for a total of over $24,400 being raised for local education! We know with all of your help we can rise to the challenge again and have another successful Giving Tuesday Campaign for 2023 and continue to operate an innovative secondary school option within our quaint Vermont mountain town.
